Explore the fascinating history and soulful flavors of Northern New Mexico through cooking with me, Chef MaryDawn! Each class brings to life a curated collection of authentic and satisfying recipes selected just for you. In my country kitchen outside of Santa Fe, NM, you will cook, stir, simmer, and savor to your heart’s delight. Classes are limited to nine people, so each session is always intimate.
Ingredients from the Espanola Valley region (hyper-local) are the first choice and used whenever possible. Your personalized cooking session will make both you and your stomach happy as we create great-tasting food, memories, and joy through cooking and eating together. We’ll finish the class dining at my 10-foot-long mesquite table made from old Mexican doors and oxen yokes.
My kitchen is 30 minutes north of the Santa Fe Plaza, centrally located in the Espanola Valley, a perfect place to begin or end your Northern New Mexico adventure. I am near Puye Cliffs, Tsankawi Historical site (part of Bandelier), Santuario de Chimayo, and on the way to the Georgia O’Keeffe museum, and home in Abiquiu.
